At Stewardship Advisors, we offer a summer Financial Planning internship to qualified college students who demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding communication skills. They are able to gain real-world experience and learn more about financial planning by working closely with our experienced team. It is with great pleasure that we would like to introduce our summer 2026 Financial Planning Intern, Ellie Diehl.

Ellie is a rising senior at Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with minors in Business and Marketing. She is currently exploring graduate education opportunities and preparing for her final year of undergraduate studies. At Villanova, Ellie has been named to the Dean’s List every semester and has earned certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts, Google Analytics, and the Hootsuite marketing platform. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and expanding her professional experience.

In addition to her studies, Ellie is actively involved in several campus organizations. She serves as a Community Advocate for POWER (Peers Offering Wellness Education and Resources), helping organize programs that educate students about maintaining their mental and physical well-being.

She also serves as a leader within Community Outreach at Villanova, a student service organization. In this role, she oversees multiple service groups and partners with local nonprofit organizations to coordinate student volunteer opportunities. Additionally, she is a member of Tri-Delta Sorority and is a Research Assistant in Dr. Elizabeth Pantesco’s Heart and Stress Research Lab. Ellie previously interned with Safe and Sound Counseling, where she aided in client services.

Ellie was drawn to Stewardship Advisors because of the firm’s commitment to serving clients and collaborative team environment. She is excited for the opportunity to learn from the experienced professionals at Stewardship Advisors and gain valuable insight into the financial planning industry.

As a psychology major, Ellie enjoys building meaningful connections and looks forward to contributing to the service and experience provided by Stewardship Advisors. She is also excited to contribute to the firm’s marketing initiatives, applying the skills she has developed through her marketing studies while gaining hands-on experience in the financial planning profession.

Ellie grew up in Wyomissing Pennsylvania and graduated from Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr. High School. She is a member of LCBC, where her and her family attend regularly. Her father Timothy Diehl is a Major Gifts Officer for Waterstreet Mission, and her mother, Tracey Diehl, owns and operates a quilting business. Ellie has three biological siblings and two adopted younger brothers, Isaac (3 years old) and Israel (4 years old). Her older brother, Joshua, graduated from York College of Pennsylvania and currently works as a Mechanical Engineer. Her older sister, Grace, graduated from Elizabethtown College and recently accepted a teaching position at the Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning. Her younger sister, Lael, is studying Occupational Therapy at the University of Scranton.

Ellie is grateful for this opportunity to work alongside the Stewardship Advisors team and looks forward to contributing to their meaningful work throughout the summer of 2026.
